    Much useful information concerning the composition of patent medicines will be found in Cooley’s Cyclopcedia of Practical Receipts, and in the Anatomy of Quackery, by the same author. See also Kilner’s Compendium of Modern Pharmacy, 1882. THE ANTIDOTE BAG. The Antidote Bag should contain every drug and instrument likely to be required in a case of poisoning. It should be to the Toxi- cologist what the Midwifery bag is to the Obstetrician. It should always be kept filled ready for use, so that in case of emergency the doctor would simply have to take or send for his bag, and would not have to look for stray bottles or Instruments at a time when every moment is of importance. The Antidote Bag should contain :— I. Instruments. I. Stomach-pump or tube, which might also be used as an enema apparatus.
