Description

The Needell family have suffered nine miscarriages and one abnormal birth, of a daughter who died in infancy. Juliet Needell has inherited a genetic disease which can cause spontaneous abortion. The programme follows the family as they undergo PGD (Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis) at St Thomas's Hospital in London, a technique which is designed to screen-out the embryos that carry the abnormality.
