    CONDITIONS OF SALE. I. The highest Bidder to be the Buyer; and if any Dispute arises between two or more Bidders, the Lot so disputed, shall be immediately put up again and re-sold. II. No Person to advance less than I5.; above Five Pounds, 25. 6d. j and so in Proportion. III. The Purchasers to give in their Names and Places of Abode, and to pay down 5s. in the Pound, if required, in Part Payment of tlie Purchase-money; in Default of which the Lot; or Lots so purchased to be immediately put up again and re-sold. IV. The Lots to be taken away at the Buyer’s Expencev within Three Davs after the Conclusion of the Sale: and the- * ' remainder of the Purchase-money to be absolutely paidron or before Delivery; in default of which, Mr. Evans will not hold ^ himself responsible if lost, stolen, damaged, or otherwise destrpyedj, but thev will be left at the sole risk of the Purchaser. V. The Books are presumed to be perfect unless otherwiscA expressed; but if, upon collating, at tub place of sale, they should prove defective, the Purchasers will be at Liberty to take or reject them. VI. The Sale of any Bonk, or Books, is not to be set aside on account of any Stained, or Short Leaves. V^II. U[)on Failure of complying with the above Conditions the Money deposited in Part of Payment shall be forfeited ; and all Lots uncleared within the time aforesaid, shall be re-sold by public or private Sale, and the Deficiency (if any) attending such^ Re-salc, shall be made good by the Defaulter at this Sale, together with all charges on sucli Re-sale.
