Description

Black and white photograph of a mounted plant specimen of Cinchona pubescens (Herb. HK). The original specimen was lent from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew for Malaria section of the international celebration and exhibition : three hundredth anniversary of the first recognized use of cinchona by Europeans, 1630-1930, an exhibition hosted by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1930. The specimen is listed as exhibit no. 346 in the souvenir catalogue.
