    Articles of Diet allowed under Homoeopathic Treatment. Gruel, made of oat-meal, wheat flour, corn starch, farina, rice, barley and corn- meal. Soup, made of the lean of mutton, beef, chicken, with the addition of rice, young peas, barley, &c. Cooked Meats, broiled beef, or mutton- steaks, roasted tenderloin, venison, chick- ens, &c. Cooked Fish, boiled rock-fish; trout and other fresh fish, not of an oleaginous char- acter. Shell Fish, roasted and stewed oysters, without seasoning. Vegetables, potatoes, green peas, beans, tomatoes, rice, &c. Puddings, made of crackers, tapioca, sago, rice, farina and arrow-root. Bread, made of wheat flour, not recently baked, and bread made of unbolted wheat flour. Eggs, lightly boiled, poached or made into custards.
