About this work

Description

Diecut card in the shape of a small, brown dog sitting down. Text is on a large disc hanging from the dog's collar. The reverse advertises Cook's Carbolic Jelly (very popular in 1884-5) for chaps, scurvy and skin diseases, Cook's Essence of Linseed for coughs, colds, bronchitis and asthma and Cook's Canadian Tincture for toothache, tic and neuralgia.
