Traité des maux vénériens (pp. 299-338); (3) [Anon.] La manière de faire la pierre minérale [etc.] (pp. 341-372); (4) [Anon.] Expériences nouvelles [Incomplete] (70 pp.). Pasted on the upper cover is a label inscribed: 'Remèdes pour quelques maladies d'après Mr. Girard': this is signed 'C. Meynard'.

Jacob Girard de Bergeries was professor of theology and of Greek as well as a Doctor of Medicine at Lausanne [cf. Olivier (E.) 'Jacob Girard de Bergeries (1615-1681) le medecin' in 'Revue historique vaudoise', 1938, pp. 274-293, 359-368. Ibid. 1939, pp. 195-209.].
