Two images on one negative: the first is a photograph of a full-length statue of Aesculapius, the Greek god of medicine, with the lettering "Roma, Esculapio, Museo Laterano, Ripr. Int. Anderson, Roma" at the footer. Related images: V0048419. The second is an engraving of a bust of Aesculapius, with the captions "Esculape, Dieu de la Medecine" and "Aesculapius, Greek god of medicine" underneath.
