The Annual Report .was read, approved, and ordered to be printed,, under the direction of the Managers. REPORT. The silent, the never-ceasing stream of time has again brought us to that period that calls upon us, as the Managers of the Royal Jennerian So¬ ciety, to give an account of our Stewardship during the last year—a year more remarkable for its extraordinary circumstances and events, in the commercial, manufacturing, and financial concerns of this country than any that has preceded it.—Our life-saving bark, it is true, was exposed to the awful convulsion, but, under the benign auspices and cheering incentives of a generous public, our vessel was enabled to weather the storm, and not only
