    requiring it, and gave each Ward its full complement of stock, numbering in all 910. The Superintendent advised the addition of 85 more, and I shall shortly now attend to this. At the same time we were under the necessity of adding considerably to the Choir Books owing to the enlargement of the Choir, by which however we can ensure generally a good Sunday muster, notwithstanding one-third of the Staff are off duty. The Library has furnished, as usual, a large amount of pleasure, the volumes issued being 838, chiefly of the periodical type, which contain a good deal of matter of great variety, and which I find are read by many besides those to whose names they are entered in my book.
