Creator/production credits
Although the artist's name is clearly printed as W.R. Blake, the impression in the Amon Carter Museum is attributed to William Phipps Blake (1826-1910), which seems to be correct: "Besides identifying geologic features along the route and exploring the mining fields of California, he was author of several of the Railroad Survey reports, which included his polished field sketches that are now sought after as works of art."
