Of Chilblains and Kibes-, their Caufes and Cures. Chilblains are fmall red fhining inflam¬ matory eruptions on the hands, - fingers, heels, and toes, but not rifing to any great height above the furface, attended with violent itching, and when thefe tumours Impofthumate and break upon the heels, they are called Kibes, The caufe of thefe tumours proceed in- tirely from the external cold, in a fcorbu- tic habit of body. The Chilblains are cured by the Refri* gerent Lotion, and the Kibes by the Refri- gerent Ointment. Directions for ujing the Refrigerent Lotion, and the Refrigerent Ointmertt. • Six or eight table fpoonfuls of the Refri¬ gerent Lotion to be made hot, (in a pipkin, or fome other earthen veflelj and bathe the parts
