Description
These books were used to hold copies of press advertising produced by Coopers.
Advertisements have been clipped from publications and fixed into the volumes. Sometimes other information about the advertisements has been recorded alongside them, such as the date of publication, and the name of the publication in which they appeared. Some of the advertisements have not been cut from publications, instead they are offprints or photographic copies. Some of the advertising in the Guard Books may not have been published, but used instead as a leaflet or a package insert.
