The Christ-figure representing the medical practitioner holds a urine flask in his left hand and a powder-dispenser (?) in his right. On the left, in the background a physician attends a sick man in bed and a maid warms linen by the fire; in the foreground, medical instruments (books and a urine flask). On the right, in the background a surgeon attends to a man's head-wound while his apprentice carries a case of instruments; in the foreground, surgical instruments (lancet, scissors, knives, bandage, splint, ointment jar etc.)
