The last in an eight-part series in which a pioneering team attempt to counter certain medical conditions by using food as medicine. The team include dietitian Lucy Jones, GP Gio Miletto and consultant surgeon Shaw Somers. Over three months they will attempt to treat a number of condtions without prescribing a single drug. This time they meet a woman with dangerously high cholesterol levels, a 24-year-old with irritable bowel syndrome, a young woman with extremely painful PMS and a 34-year-old who possibly eats too much raw food. Meanwhile Dr Pixie McKenna looks at whether health headlines in the news are worth taking seriously or not.
