Correspondence between Galton and Elderton, Secretary [later Research Scholar] to the Eugenic Record Office, regarding drafts of Noteworthy Families, the exchange of schedules and proofs, the layout of lists and tables, and constructing the index. The correspondence also concerns stationary supplies and office finances.

Several of Galton's letters appear in draft form; several of Elderton's letters have been annotated by Galton.
