Photograph of an illustration from Codex Byzantinus, a 12th century manuscript held by the Austrian National Library, Vienna, depicting a mandrake with inscription above. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 12th October 1935 (PHO 5092).
