Description

An upper room in the tomb of the Emperor Hadrian. The doorway is surmounted by a colossal arch from which protrude huge stone bosses. The room is shown as being used as an armoury: piles of cannon balls are guarded by an armed guardsman. Architectural components are labelled A.-G.
