Creator/production credits

Benezit records three artists called Charles White active at the end of the eighteenth century, although he suspects the first and second may be the same person, as he says at the end of the second entry: "a rapprocher du precedent". Colvin (1995) mentions a Charles White employed by the Board of Ordnance, but who also exhibited between 1765 and 1783, showing works of a topographical nature. This White, though undated by Colvin, was active up to 1792
