M. Woods, S.R.N., T.A. The Out-Patients’ Department of the Settlement is situated in the Bernhard Baron Hospital, and functions in much the same way as a general practitioner’s surgery. The Medical Officer sees all ambulant patients, staff and residents in the village, and deals with all minor complaints and injuries, passing on to the special clinics those conditions needing specialist attention. The Department also administers the Artificial Pneumothorax Clinic for ambulant patients.
