Notes

Includes almanac containing a detailed calendar, a list of kings since 1066 and a list of the current principals of the university. On the right is a lead replica of the sculpture by Giambologna of Samson slaying the Philistines, which was sold as scrap metal in 1881: it had previously been thought to represent Cain killing Abel (Petter, loc. cit.)
