Manuscript letter, dated 22 March 1899, in reply to "yours of the 17th from Munich."

Wellcome refers to two outstanding matters requiring urgent attention before his partner's "sudden departure" for a "pleasure trip" [sheet 1]: fire insurance relating to the drying room at Dartford (which Wellcome has resolved by locating the drying room in a detached building), and the dismissal of Dr Smith as Manager at Dartford.
