About this work

Description

A film which is missing its title and opening credits. A series of hospital cases where real elderly and confused patients are presented. Some experience confusional states by their ill health (either by malnutrition or pneumonia). Antibiotics are provided. There is an overarching dramatised thread demonstrating best practice with a young black nurse attending to a patient and alerting the consultant doctor by telephone when she becomes concerned about a post-operative patient. The proper care of patients post-operatively is outlined.
