Loose manuscript letter inside front cover of The Principles of Science: A Treatise on Logic and Scientific Method by W Stanley Jevons, vol 1, London: Macmillan and Co, 1874. Asked Galton to send a copy of the summary of his lecture. Also asked for full references to Galton's papers on law of error. He wanted them for a revised edition of Principles.
