Description

Guillié was director of the Institution Royale (later Nationale) des Jeunes Aveugles in Paris. The Institution had a printing press on which the blind inmates set in type and printed, among other works, Guillié's book (written with his successor Pierre-Armand Dufau) Elémens de géographie à l'usage des jeunes aveugles et disposés pour eux, Paris 1819
