He is mainly known for his work called Hanumänanätaka which became one of the most popular versions of the Rämäyana story in the Punjab. [McGregor 1984: p. 109. NPS 1964 II: p. 648. NPS 1923-25: p. 66.] Work: A fair complete copy of this work. It is a version of the Rämäyana in the form of a drama in 14 acts composed in AD 1623 by Hrdayaräma. It is based upon the Sanskrit work of the same name.
