Description

A summary of what children should know about the human body, medicine and surgery. Top left, a boy without hands and feet eating from a plate with his stumps, described as "Eine Misgeburt ohne Hände und Füsse, welche sich selbst Speise reichen kann". Above right, anatomical figures after Casserius etc., showing the heart, the intestines, the skeleton etc. Lower left, a sick man attended by a doctor ("Der Kranke mit dem Arzte und dem Freunde."), a table of medical equipment ("Ein Tisch mit Artzeney."), and a child being given a medicine ("Ein Kind welches Artzeney einnimmt.").
