Description

Certificate of Royal Warrant Appointment. In this instance it is that of Bertrand Dawson as physician extraordinary (i.e., additional, not remarkable) to King Edward VII (later to George V, Edward VIII and George VI) on 19th July 1907. It is signed by 'Althorp', the Lord Chamberlain. There is a coat of arms at the top and the Lord Chamberlain's (red) seal at the bottom.
