Description

Photograph of a display at the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in July 1939 including several skull fragments and trephination tools. Thomas Wilson Parry (1866-1945) was a doctor who researched trephining and would demonstrate the practice using different tools. A number of skulls, skull fragments and tools were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and are now held by the Science Museum. Related images: M0006367, M0006368, M0006369.
