Notes in Latin on the veins Pp. 277-283 There are some added receipts etc., in English on pp. 184, 209, 251 by late 16th or early 17th cent, hands: on p. 282, by a 15th cent. hand. The first of the preliminary leaves contains an Index to the ‘ Trotula ’ tracts only, by a 16th cent. hand. No. 1 This seems to be a version of the ‘Anatomia’ of Richardus Salernitanus, though it differs from the entries in Corner’s ‘Anatomical texts’ 1927. No. 2 ‘Philamon’ is probably written in error for Polemon of Laodicea. No. 3 The end of this work is found in De Renzi ‘ Collectio Salernitana ’ Vol. II, p. 697. No. 6 Though here attributed to ‘ Thomas de Bononia ’ this work seems to be a variant of the tract ‘ De aqua vitae ’ by Theodoric. [Cf. Singer ‘ Catalogue of alchemical MSS’. Vol. 2. No. 1000]. No. 12 A work with a similar Prologue in verse is entered in Thorndike’s ‘ Catalogue of Incipits,’ Col. 427 and ascribed to ‘ Asclepius’. Here his entry also includes two other anonymous MSS. (Prague 2673, Vienna 2505) also entitled](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b20086222_vol_1_0420.JP2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
