Description
A magazine style sound recording co-edited by three chief editors; Martinus Woerdeman (Amsterdam), Morris Fishbein (Chicago) and Sir Heneage Ogilvie (London). The recording comprises of a 'Special feature', a report on 'Urinary Infections in Childhood' from the Seventh Annual Meeting of the British Association of Pediatric Surgeons, in the form of a symposium moderated by R. B. Zachery. Other participants were D. Innes Willams, C. C. Winkel Smith, F. Douglas Stephens recorded in London. The second feature is 'Person to Person' and is an interview with Albert Sabin on the subject of 'Recent Results and Recommendations for the Use of the Approved Live Oral Polio Vaccine' (00:18:30). The next item is 'Everyday Practice Panel Discussion: 'The Acute Heart Attack'. The session was moderated by J. W. C. de Groot and the panel members were John Helmut Gillman, Heim de Balsac, R. W. D.. Turner (recorded in Amsterdam, Netherlands). The sleeve notes also include a written section with abstracts from International literature.
