About this work

Description

"In our workshops, we have met with women from the three main cultural groups in New Mexico: Native American, Hispanic, and Anglo. Their backgrounds may have been different, but their experiences with middle age and menopause were very similar. They were all women wanting to know more about their bodies and eager to share experiences with other women. The purpose of this book is to give women the tools needed to organize their own menopause groups, to give support and resources for these women's groups, and to provide knowledge and information about their bodies. It is not our intent to prescribe or give medical advice."--The authors, from Foreword.
