Thomas Gray, Notes on a tour through France and Italy undertaken in the years 1739 to 1741 by Thomas Gray, Penrith: Northern Academic Press, 2011 [e-text, ed. W.G. Roberts] p. 108, mentions this print when describing a study for the painting in Palazzo Corsini ("Palazzo Corsini. ... The martyrdom of St. Andrew; thought in oil, for that [which] Sir Erasmus Philips bought out of the Card. Imperiali's collection. Giacomo Freii has graved it [i.e. the Philipps version]. - C. Maratta."
