Description

Leaflet advertising Tilbury Alterative Water, on sale at Mrs. Kellaway's in Broad Street and Mr. Day's near the Savoy, Strand. It was supposed to cure or aid looseness (diarrhoea?), bloody flux (menstruation?), piles, nose bleeds, cholick, heart burn, gravel, consumption and helps coughs and colds when mixed with honey and syrup of maidenhair.
