About this work
Description
The second in a six-part series in which people with long-term memory problems cope with their conditions. This part features John who has developmental amnesia. His immediate memory is fleeting yet he is like a walking dictionary with vast amounts of historical knowledge and facts but no capacity to remember day to day events. He tells us how he manages his life with this condition and Professor Faraneh Vargha-Khadem explains what's happening inside John's brain.
