The last in a four-part series which follows twin doctors, Chris and Xand van Tulleken, trained in tropical medicine as they travel the world to research and experience for themselves the roles of medicine, ritual and belief in traditional forms of healing. In this part they travel to a Peruvian forest to try out forest poisons used to purge the body. Both brothers experiment with taking the purgatives and hallucinogenic potions.
