Lettering

The blunt razor, from the original picture in the possession of P. Norton esqr. Painted by Edwd. Bird R.A. Bristol. Engraved by Henry Meyer 3. Red Lion Square, Bloomsbury. Written in hand on mount is a dialogue between barber and customer: barber "Does't razor hurt thee, lad?" _ (at the commencement) _ customer "Sooa, sooa!" presently:- barber "Is't e-a-s-y like?" customer - "Noan so e-a-s-y." barber - "Well! man-a tha'art near done. Ha'a is't?" customer _ "Tha' knows I cum in to be sha-aved. Not to 'ave my b__y yed cut off _ dam thee!"
