About this work

Description

Postcard (probably late 1920s) showing Mr. and Mrs. Franks in full wedding dress, sitting in an open carriage drawn by a very small horse. 9 other midgets (presumably the rest of the company) are looking on with smiles. A tall man in ornate livery is standing behind them all looking very formal. The card would probably have been sold as a souvenir at places where they were exhibited as part of a freak or variety show.
