Description

Cell morphology of sleeping sickness causing parasite: bloodstream form This is a transmission electron micrograph (TEM) which shows a thin longitudinal section through a bloodstream form of Trypanosoma brucei brucei. Structures visible within the cell include the dividing kinetoplast, flagellar pocket, flagellum and Golgi.
