Journal of a voyage from London to the Far East on P&O Steamer Indus, and of voyages between Bombay, Singapore and Hong Kong. On ff. 78-81 is an account by Barton of his shipwreck off the coast of Ceylon, together with General Henry Havelock, on the steamer Erin.
