Description

The handles of the cup are formed by gilt griphons, and the handle of the hinged lid is formed by a lamb. On the side of the cup is a coat of arms with the gilt motto "My trust is in God alone". The stem contains a British royal coat of arms, the motto "Dieu et mon droit", and the gilt initials VR for Victoria Regina. Around the base is the text "Whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall abide under" [the shadow of the Almighty]
