Description

Jonathan Miller talks about his life and work. Beginning by describing the influence of his parents, Miller goes on to talk in some depth about his university life at Cambridge. We see archive footage of him from his days as a comedian and as the director and editor of the art's show, Monitor. Clips are also shown from his early films and theatre productions including Alice in Wonderland from 1966. Miller also discusses his own artworks as well as his collection of locks. Throughout former colleagues and actors describe working with Miller. Finally Miller returns to discuss his interest in neurology and psychiatric medicine and expresses doubt about his decision to leave the world of medicine behind to follow his other passions in the arts.
