An appeal to the nobility and gentry, in regard to the gold and silver lace, brocades, embroidery, and gold and silver ribbon of this kingdom. The late glorious and memorable King William, in a speech of his to the Parliament, calleth trade the heart's blood of a nation. And as trade produceth imployment for the greater part of mankind, in what light must we look upon any, who are for spoiling or adulterating any manufactory, of what nature or kind soever.
