George Fraser recorded,
'Professor Francisco Salzano in Porto Alegre invited me to give the lecture 'Genética Humana Hoje: Esperanças e Riscos' (Human Genetics Today: Hopes and Risks) in Foz do Iguaçú, Brazil in 2006 on the occasion of the 52 Congresso da Sociedade Brasileira de Genética (52nd Congress of the Brazilian Society of Genetics) and the 12 Congresso da Asociación Latinoamericana de Genética (12th Congress of the Latino-American Association of Genetics). This lecture was given in Portuguese with help of Professor Ademar Freire-Maia in translation from English.'
