About this work

Bible. N.T. Acts 2.1-16. The sole reference to Mary in this relation is Acts 1.14, in which she is simply described as being present. A dove hovers above the Virgin, who does not play a role in the Biblical version of the Pentecost. The Bible tells how the apostles were deemed by onlookers to be drunk
