Author (with Charles Orde Browne) of Ammunition: A descriptive treatise on the different projectiles, charges, fuzes, rockets, &c. (1867-1870). Author of The arms and ammunition of the British Service (1868); Guide book to the Explosives Act 1875 (1877); and Explosion at the Victoria Railway Station, ... and the attempted explosions at the Charing Cross, Paddington, and Ludgate Hill railway stations (1884)
