Articles to fix a convent, to promote universal knowledge: with a general repository for curious manuscripts. The Members of it, that are Authors, or of a good Genius, to have each 100 1. per Annum. And Any Native or Foreigner that brings in a Written Copy of what is Extraordinary in Point of Learning, New Discovery, or Invention in any Kind, to receive, as it meets with Acceptation in the World, a Reward of a Medal, or Plate of Gold, from the Value of Ten to Five Hundred Guineas. This is publish'd by the Particular Direction of the Body of Gentlemen that have engag'd to give, to carry on the Work, the full Interest of Forty Thousand, Eight Hundred Pounds.
