    Lead, Salts of. Immediate Treatment,—Stomach pump. Sulphate of Magnesium. White of Egg. Secondary Treatment.—Aperients and Io- dide of Potash. Lemon, Salts of.—See Acid Oxalic. Mercury, Salts of. Immediate Treatment,—White of Egg and Milk, followed by stomach pump or Emetic at once. Secondary Treatment.—Stimulants. Alorphine.—See Opium. Nitric Acid.—See Acid Nitric. Opium. Immediate Treatment.—Emetic, followed by stomach pump. If comatose dash cold water on face and apply Ammonia or Amyl Nitrite to nostrils. Secondary Treatment.—Rouse patient by forced exercise or galvanism Inject subcu- taneously Liq. Atropinx Sulph. ill iv. Give hot strong coffee freely. Artificial respiration, if necessary.
