    Managers of that establishment at their Lammas meeting. CLERK. - 40. When the office of Clerk is vacant, a per¬ son of character, properly qualified, shall be cho¬ sen at a meeting expressly called for the purpose; the object thereof being notified to all the Fel¬ lows in the billets of summons. 41. The Clerk shall hold his office during the pleasure of the College. 42. The Clerk shall be present at every meeting, bringing with him the Sederunt-book of the Col¬ lege, or shall send a Deputy, properly qualified, with whom the College is satisfied, to officiate in his stead; and shall regularly enter all the pro¬ ceedings in the Minute-book, and copy them into the Sederunt-book, after being approved of by the next meeting. « 43.
