Description

Of humble origins, Dubois became one of the eminent figures in the medical world of the Empire, as physician, surgeon and obstetrician, founder of the Maison de Santé Dubois and of the Maison d'Accouchement, and obstetrician to the Empress Marie-Louise at the birth of the King of Rome, son of Napoleon I, in 1811
